Numbers tell the story behind the Jio IPO. Here are the FY26 highlights in plain English.
Revenue and profit
- Revenue: about Rs 1.47 lakh crore.
- Profit: Rs 30,049 crore, which is roughly 20 per cent of revenue.
- Profit growth: about 15 per cent.
Margin
The operating margin is around 52 per cent. That means more than half of every rupee of revenue turned into operating profit before interest and depreciation effects.
Customers
Jio added 36 million customers in a year and ended March 2026 with 524 million. About 60 per cent of India's wireless data runs on its network.
Debt
Net debt to EBITDA fell to 0.36 times in FY26 from 0.88 times in FY24. Interest costs still rose about 76 per cent to Rs 8,653 crore.
Concentration
Reliance Jio Infocomm brings in about 94 per cent of the profit.
How to read it
- High margin and scale are strengths.
- Moderate growth means valuation matters.
