The air suspension light popped up on my 750i yesterday and the car is sitting noticeably lower on one side now, which is a bit alarming to look at. I called the dealer and they want it booked in for a week just to diagnose, plus the quote they hinted at was eye watering. What I want to know is whether independents actually have the kit to handle air suspension properly or if this is one of those jobs where you're forced back to the dealer. Has anyone had a similar issue sorted outside the dealer network? And how quickly did it go from diagnosis to fixed? I'm not comfortable driving it much in this state so I'd rather get it seen soon.
